Dataformat MODEL
The MODEL file contains double float numbers (8 bytes per number) in binary form. Their count and meaning is depending on counts of objects specified in the CONFIG file. Size of MODEL file is exactly given by relationship:
size = 8(11nn + 11nb + 8nbcl + 6nbsfl + 4nbsml + 4nbtl);
for explanation of the used symbols see dataformat_config. Data are saved in the file in the same order and count like in the relationship. Following tables define the data order and their meaning.
Every NODE has 11 parameters with the following order and meaning:
parameter | coord X | coord Z | support X | support Z | support Y | force FX | force FZ | moment MY | displ u | displ w | displ fi |
domain | R | R | 0/1 | 0/1 | 0/1 | R | R | R | R | R | R |
dimension | m | m | - | - | - | N | N | Nm | m | m | rad |
Every BAR has 11 parameters with the following order and meaning (see bar_attributes):
parameter | node1 | node2 | hinge1 | hinge2 | height h | area A | area Akapa | moment I | modulus E | ratio mi | thermal coef cT |
domain | N+ | N+ | 0/1 | 0/1 | R+ | R+ | R+ | R+ | R+ | R+ | R+ |
dimension | index | index | - | - | m | m2 | m2 | m4 | Pa | - | K-1 |
Explanations of the bar loads data are not yet available.
